140th Anniversary
In 2023 the Adelaide Law School celebrated 140 years of legal education. We invited past and present students, the professional community and other supporters of the Law School to be part of this significant achievement.
Tailored events included a seminar series, distinguished speakers, a new history of the Adelaide Law School for the 140th anniversary written by one of Australia's leading legal historians, Dr John Waugh, a special edition of the Adelaide Law Review, and culminated in a gala dinner at the end of the year.

Events
- In celebration of the Adelaide Law School's 140th anniversary, we hosted a seven-seminar series called: Law 140: Eminent Speakers Series.
- On 5th October, 2023, the Adelaide Law School held the James Crawford Oration 2023: Mapping International Criminal Law in Light of Russia’s Aggression in Ukraine. Guest speaker was Ambassador Beth Van Schaack. A high quality recording of the event is here.
Gala dinner
We hosted a celebratory Gala Dinner at the National Wine Centre on Thursday 5 October, 2023.
