Law students present a 'Know your employment rights' workshop to young people at Adelaide City Library

The Adelaide Law School is proud of the Adelaide Clinical Legal Education students who presented a 'know your employment rights' workshop to young people at Adelaide City Library today, in collaboration with headspace

CLE Students

Students Annabel Bramley, Leon Kasperski, Anika Pietek and Natasha Slater presented an interactive workshop to guide young workers through their rights and entitlement and provide information about employment rights, as well as practical ways to have difficult discussions with employers about rights at work.

The students are working in our free legal advice clinics – Magistrates Court, Equal Opportunity, Administrative, and Adelaide Legal Outreach services.

In addition to providing legal advice to diverse through the Law School Free Legal Advice services, our students reach out to the community to provide education and support in presentations like this. A win for the community, for young workers, and to our future graduates who gave an engaging and interesting presentation, and were able to help attendees with lots of questions.
