Report and webinar on the need for wage growth

Adelaide Law School’s Professor Andrew Stewart is the lead author on an important new report, The Wages Crisis Revisited, which discusses the need for wage growth in Australia and explains how it could be achieved.

The report is a follow-up to a 2018 collection of essays freely available online from the University of Adelaide Press.

Together with co-authors Dr Jim Stanford and Associate Professor Tess Hardy, Andrew will be appearing on Tuesday 17 May at 11:00am AEST at a webinar hosted by the Australia Institute. They will be discussing their findings in the report, as well as what has become a hot button issue in the federal election campaign, whether wages should be rising to keep pace with inflation.
