Reckoning and Reimagining: Workshopping Indigenous Justice Pedagogies

Maddie

Anna Olijnyk, Alex Wawryk, Ayla Do Vale Alves (UniSA), and Madeleine Perrett attended a three-day workshop at the Indigenous Law and Justice Hub, University of Melbourne last week.

The workshop, Reckoning and Reimagining: Workshopping Indigenous Justice Pedagogies, brought together legal academics from across Australia, Aotearoa, and America to critically engage with Indigenous justice, teaching practices, and curriculum design.

The experience was deeply enriching, offering space for reflection, collaboration, and inspiration. It was a rare opportunity to connect with leading thinkers, share ideas, and explore new ways of embedding Indigenous knowledges and pedagogies into legal education.
