Associate Professor Hewitt captivated an international audience of leading researchers, policymakers, and practitioners with her ongoing research exploring the innovative use of educational programs as regulatory tools. Her presentation featured a detailed case study of Australia’s nine federal, state, and territory equality commissions, shedding light on how education can actively promote fairness and equity in the workplace.

A highlight of the visit was Anne Hewitt’s presence at the iconic ILO Hall of the Colonnades, surrounded by the flags of all ILO Member States—an inspiring setting that underscores the global significance of her work.

We congratulate Anne Hewitt on representing Adelaide Law School on the world stage and contributing to the global dialogue on decent work and social justice.
